Application Process

Thank you for your interest in Westside Montessori School. Choosing a child's first school is a very important decision in a family’s life. Our admissions process is designed to give you as much information as you need to make an informed choice about enrolling your child in our 3 Year Preschool / Kindergarten Program at WMS.

Registration for September 2012 will be completed mid-March 2012. If you would like to be invited to next year's Parent Open House on Thursday, January 31st, 2013, fill in an online application form. If your child is of-age to attend in September 2013, we will contact you with an invitation mid-January 2013. The Open House is for parents only. It is an opportunity to see the facilities, meet the staff and to ask questions. Parents can also sign up for a 15 minute Classroom Observation the following week. The process is an opportunity to assess both the school’s ability to meet the needs of your child and the level or fit for your family with our educational approach and school. We do not operate on a wait-list system. Instead, we look to achieve balanced classes in terms of ages and gender. Applicants who are siblings of children who have attended the school for the full 3 years have enrollment priority.
