Thank you for your interest in the Westside Montessori School Casa Program. Our Preschool, Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten years are designed as a complete three year Montessori Foundation Program.
The Kindergarten year is the capstone of the Casa experience, when children have the opportunity to consolidate their learning, develop leadership and experience the full benefit of the Montessori cycle. For this reason, families applying to WMS should be prepared to commit to the full program through Kindergarten.
Families are invited to apply for the school year in which their child turns three. Children must be at least 30 months old before beginning preschool.
Children entering the Casa Program should be ready to participate in a group learning environment with growing independence. This includes separating from parents or caregivers, following basic classroom routines, engaging safely with others and using the washroom independently.
