Application Process
The application process involves four steps:

STEP 1. Submit an Online Application
Submit an Online Application, complete with the $50 non-refundable application fee. At the end of the calendar year, applicant families will receive an invitation for our Annual Open House. STEP 2. Attend the Open House We host our Annual Open House every January. This is an opportunity to visit our school facility, walk through our classrooms, chat with current parents of our program and meet our teachers. |
STEP 3. Watch our Program Information Video
A link to our Program Information Video will be sent out after the Open House. It allows families to learn more about our school, the Montessori philosophy and the admissions process. Included will be an overview of our programs, student demonstrations and parent perspectives. STEP 4. Attend a Children's Visit Applicant families will be invited to attend a 30-minute Children's Visit with their child. During the Children's Visit, your child may explore the classroom, use the Montessori materials, meet our class pets and participate in group time actvities. If the weather permits, children are also welcome to play in outdoor garden area. Parents are encouraged to chat with the teachers and ask questions. |
Admission Process Information
If there are more applicants than spaces, WMS accepts students based on a lottery system. WMS does not operate on a wait-list system. Instead, we aim to achieve balanced classes in terms of age and gender.
Applicants who are siblings of current students or those that have graduated from our complete Three Year Program have enrolment priority.
Our major intake of new students happens at the start of each school year in September. After our admissions process completes in mid February, all spaces for September are filled.
Occasionally, a space becomes available during the school year. This space is filled by a family who has completed an application and is on our Reserve List.
